Calling All Cooks!

Calling all cooks, mixologists and creative minds: the SPCA Albrecht Center is looking for people like you! Preparation for the fourth annual Barkaritaville is underway, and we are seeking individuals to host themed booths to make this party for the animals spectacular. Barkaritaville is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and the booth hosts are a huge part of why the event has been so successful over the past three years. So what do I mean by “booths?” Participants set up tables and tents in our shelter’s parking lot that they decorate to match any theme they come up with. Those Who Care, Teach

Watching these amazing athletes can be quite intimidating, but it can also be inspiring. Sure, most of us, no matter how hard we try, will never match their level of physical fitness and strength, but we can use their example as motivati
