Donate Locally to Help Local Pets

A woman called a few weeks ago to ask us to remove her elderly mother's name and address from our mailing list. She said her mother had been sending us ten dollars per month, every month for the last dozen years or so, but that she would no longer be able to do so. I asked her to please thank her mother, Mrs. Davis, for her many years of support and wrote down the information so I could mark her record "do not mail" as requested. Last year, our team of approximately 300 volunteers contributed over 11,400 hours of service to help the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare and the animals in our care – this is the hourly equivalent to approximately six full-time positions. With only a small group of paid staff, our volunteers are vital to ensure our animals receive the best
