Little Ann's New Home
(Received May 26)
Ms. Barbara and the SPCA Staff,
I would like to keep you updated on my progress with my Foster Family. The Rogers.
Well, I really like it here. I have many things to keep me busy, so much so, that they are calling me Queen Ann since I have been doing whatever I like.
On the second day we went to a dog park not far from here and I met some neat friends. Archer, Hazel, and Niki. They were a lot of fun to play with and I ran and ran, and ran so I slept pretty much the whole night. Only once did I wake up to go outside.
The third day we went to PetSmart and I got to pick out some toys and treats because I kept playing with Cole's and Davis's shoes that they left on the floor.
I have been going for walks on the walking trails and sidewalks in my new neighborhood.
As you can see in the picture I like to jump on the couch in the den which they are allowing me to do for now.
I do have a bit of separation anxiety when I am left outside by myself so I will try to overcome it in due time.
I believe my new name will be Annie for short as Queen Ann is a bit long when they call me to come.
(Received June 6)
I just wanted to let you know how I am doing at the Rogers house.
I have been adjusting and the Rogers family is taking good care of me. It has been two weeks and I think I am going to be staying here for the rest of my life. I get lots of attention and they take me out to run almost every day.
Cole and Davis play with me a lot. Mrs. Rogers likes me too I think because she buys me treats and gives me a bath when I need one.
Mr. Rogers says that he is going to mail the adoption fee to you on Monday so you should have it soon.
He would like to know how he can get a current rabies tag for my collar as this is required in Columbia County. Let him know please.
Thank you for keeping me safe at the SPCA while I found my forever home. I love you and all of the staff and I will miss you. Maybe I can come visit sometime.
Annie (Little Ann)
