Did you know that January was National Thank You Month? It was, and I missed it. You probably did too. Well, it may be March already, but it's never too late to take a moment to express gratitude to the people who support you, love you, and just make your life better somehow.
Here at the SPCA Albrecht Center, we are truly blessed to have many, many amazing supporters. It's great to work for an organization that is so well loved by the community. If I happen to wear an SPCA shirt or hat around town, I am almost always stopped by someone who has donated, adopted or volunteered and they are always eager to share their story and thank me for "doing what you do".
So, I want to take a moment to thank our supporters for "doing what YOU do" to help our organization continue the work that is central to our mission: helping animals who are homeless, find homes, providing animals who are abused, sick or in need with shelter and medical care, and promoting the ideal that the unfailing love and devotion from an animal should be valued by all.
First, there is our amazing team of volunteers. These passionate people go above and beyond to help us with whatever we need and make sure our adoptable animals are well loved and socialized while they await adoption. This weekend, we will celebrate them all and award a few star volunteers at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. We'll announce the nominees and award winners next week. Interested in volunteering? Call our volunteer coordinator, Kelsey Schwartz at 803-648-6863 or email her at email@example.com.
Included in our volunteer team is our Board of Directors. This group of compassionate citizens makes sure we stay focused on our mission and remain dedicated to the cause, despite the obstacles and challenges that come our way.
Our sponsorship program enables local businesses to offer support to our organization through financial support and in-kind service support. We are happy and proud to partner with the following businesses and hope that you will keep them in mind when in need of services and products that they offer.
