For nearly a century, the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare has been a place of hope for both animals in need and the people who love them. Everyday, our team works tirelessly to provide compassionate care, second chances, and safe outcomes for the animals who come through our doors. As we look ahead, we are committed to ensuring that this care not only continues, but grows stronger for generations to come.
That commitment is the heart of the Furever Campaign, our Comprehensive Campaign designed to meet today’s most pressing needs while preparing for the future. Through the generosity of our Furever Campaign supporters, we will be able to continue providing top-quality veterinary care, maintain and improve our shelter operations, and thoughtfully plan for growth and expansion. By supporting both immediate priorities and our endowment, donors are helping secure a thriving, sustainable future for every animal we serve.
This campaign addresses critical needs across the organization, including:
- Shelter needs, such as building repairs and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and well-maintained facilities
- A generator to protect animals and medical equipment during power outages
- An adoption van to extend our reach into the community and save more lives
- An extension building providing temporary on-site housing for veterinary professionals and staff during critical periods, as well as flexible meeting space
- Thrift store improvements, which help sustain vital programs through earned revenue
- New equipment for the Veterinary Care Center (VCC), allowing us to elevate the level of care we provide every animal, every day.
Together, these investments ensure that the SPCA Albrecht Center remains resilient, responsive, and ready — no matter what the future brings.
